Heart House has a ground-floor apartment in Knysna. The Basic Apartment includes a kitchenette, a private bathroom, a sofa bed, a work desk, a seating area, and free toiletries. The Standard Apartment has two bedrooms, a living room, and a bathroom. All apartments come with a TV, streaming services, a refrigerator, and non-smoking rooms. Larger units give groups and families more space.
Kitchen
There is no restaurant on site, so guests use the kitchenette to cook. Each kitchenette has a refrigerator, an electric kettle, kitchenware, and a barbecue. For breakfast out, the host recommends Salt & Petals, which is a short walk away.
Leisure
Inside, guests can stream shows on the TV or use the barbecue area. Outside, the Knysna area offers water sports. Thesen Island Harbour Town and the Knysna Waterfront are a walk away from the apartment.
Location
Heart House is in Knysna city centre, close to Thesen Island Harbour Town and the Knysna Waterfront. Plettenberg Bay Airport is 30 km away. The streets outside the waterfront are not very pedestrian-friendly, so most guests drive. Free on-site private parking is available.
Services
Check-in is self-service with a lockbox, and keys are returned the same way. The host sends a WhatsApp message before arrival and is reachable for questions. The host also shares restaurant recommendations. Free on-site private parking is included, and the property is non-smoking throughout.
“I found the accommodation to be tastefully decorated and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches that elevate an overnight stay. Its safe, central location allows for easy walking access to the waterfront and local restaurants, and the host's attentive communication is a definite plus.”
